Different Field Purposes, Different Performance Priorities

Match Fields: Uniformity, Fairness, and Precise Ball Response

For professional matches, the most important requirement is field consistency. Players should experience the same traction, rebound, ball roll, and foot support across every area of the field. Even small variations can affect passing accuracy, ball speed, shooting control, and player decision-making.

A match field usually prioritizes:

  • Highly uniform shock absorption
  • Stable vertical deformation
  • Consistent friction across the field
  • Predictable ball rebound and ball roll
  • Surface flatness and seam precision
  • Clean, low-odor performance for stadium or indoor environments

For this reason, match-oriented turf should be engineered for precision and surface consistency rather than only heavy-duty wear resistance.

Training Fields: Durability, Protection, and Long-Term Stability

Training fields are used more frequently than competition fields. Athletes repeat sprinting, turning, jumping, dragging, warm-up drills, conditioning exercises, and tactical training on a daily basis. This creates higher wear pressure on the surface.

A training field usually prioritizes:

  • Strong wear resistance
  • Reliable yarn fixation
  • Stable shock absorption over long-term use
  • Resistance to compression set
  • Good traction in dry and wet conditions
  • Lower maintenance cost
  • Long service life under frequent use

For training fields, durability and athlete protection are often more important than extreme ball-response precision.
