A high-performance turf system must be supported by proper installation. Vivaturf uses different quality-control priorities depending on whether the field is designed for matches or training.
Match Field Installation Priorities
For match fields, installation precision is critical. The base should be highly level, with flatness commonly controlled within ≤2 mm over 3 m where the project specification requires it. This helps reduce ball roll deviation and supports consistent playability.
During acceptance testing, key checks may include:
- Ball rebound
- Ball roll
- Shock absorption
- Vertical deformation
- Friction coefficient
- Seam flatness
- Surface uniformity
- TVOC and odor performance for indoor applications
Training Field Installation Priorities
For training fields, structural strength and long-term durability are more important. The base may require higher load-bearing capacity, often C30 or above depending on project design, especially for high-intensity training areas.
Acceptance testing may focus on:
- Wear resistance
- Yarn pull-out force
- Compression set
- Shock absorption
- Vertical deformation
- Seam bonding strength
- Drainage and moisture resistance
- UV and aging test documentation
This differentiated installation logic helps ensure that the turf performs according to the real use scenario, rather than applying one generic standard to every field.
