Engineering Principles Behind Vivaturf 7-a-Side Systems

3.1 Fiber Structure Optimization

  • Material composition: HDPE/PA blend with plant-based modified component ≥28%
  • Fiber linear density: 13,000 dtex
  • Three-dimensional helical profile with diamond-like cross-section
  • Pile height: 40–45 mm (optimized for 7-a-side dynamics)
  • Fiber density: approx. 17,000 tufts/m²
  • UV stabilizer content: 0.8%–1.0%
  • Antioxidant content: 0.5%–0.7%

This configuration aims to maintain upright fiber structure without granular support while distributing localized load more evenly.

3.2 Multi-Layer Eco-Locking Backing System

Three-layer composite design:

  • PP reinforcement layer (1.9 mm)
  • Elastic PU cushioning layer (6.5 mm)
  • Permeable PE drainage layer (2.6 mm)

Thermal bonding replaces solvent-based adhesives, supporting:

  • Bonding strength ≥2.4 MPa
  • Improved hydrolysis resistance
  • Reduced delamination risk under repeated loading

3.3 Installation and Lifecycle Management

  • Modular panel dimensions customizable (e.g., 3 m × 5 m, 4 m × 5 m)
  • Seam tolerance ≤2 mm
  • Base compaction ≥95%
  • Surface flatness tolerance ≤2 mm / 3 m

Routine maintenance is limited to surface cleaning and periodic washing, with lifecycle maintenance costs typically referenced at about one-third of conventional infilled systems under comparable usage conditions.
